** Fraser took over as CEO in 2021 and has undertaken numerous actions for co's turnaround, including - international consumer exits, balance sheet de-risking and streamlining businesses

** "We consider Citi's turnaround as among the most complex in the corporate world, but Fraser had undertaken actions that give Citi a fighting chance of becoming competitive" - BofA

** Shares of Citi up 1.66% at $84.01 in early trading

** Citi is set to report qtrly results next month

** Up to Wednesday's close, stock had risen 17.4% YTD
