Major digital assets fell Thursday with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) hovering above $107,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, shed 0.6% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average both rose 1%, and the S&P 500 climbed 0.9%.
Bitcoin fell 0.2% to $107,570, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume dropped 16% to $43.6 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, edged up 0.3% to $2,440.
XRP (XRP-USD) lost 3%, BNB (BNB-USD) fell 0.3%, and Solana (SOL-USD) declined 1.3%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) slumped 3.1%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) dropped 2.5%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.250% at 3 p.m. ET Thursday, down from 4.291% Wednesday, while the five-year yield fell to 3.797% from 3.847%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry decreased 0.3% in the past 24 hours to $3.29 trillion with trading volume falling 7.8% to $100.6 billion.
