Godolphin Resources (ASX:GRL) said the reprocessing of historic downhole electromagnetic surveys from across the Lewis Ponds gold-silver-base metals project in New South Wales identified six significant off-hole conductor plates outside the existing mineral resource, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The historical survey data within the current mineral resource area are coincident with sulfide mineralization.
The downhole electromagnetic survey data will be incorporated with induced polarization geophysical survey data to inform the design of drill programs.
Its shares soared 11% in recent trading on Friday.
