0122 GMT - Top Glove Corp.'s earnings outlook may remain clouded due to the sector's intensifying competition, particularly from Chinese peers, says Maybank IB analyst Wong Wei Sum in a note. However, the company expects its plant utilization and sales volume to improve in fiscal 4Q, supported by restocking activity as U.S. tariff clarity improves and customer inventories fall, she notes. Following weaker-than-expected 3Q results, Wong cuts its FY2025-2027 earnings forecasts by 19%, 46%, and 52%, respectively. Maybank lowers Top Glove's target price to MYR0.70 from MYR0.73 and maintains a sell rating on the stock. Shares are 2.1% higher at MYR0.74.(yingxian.wong@wsj.com)
