0938 ET - U.S. natural gas futures hand back most of Friday's gains with cooler temperatures expected toward the end of this week, crimping demand. While most longer-ranging weather models call for above-average temperatures in the second half of July, last week's increase in the storage surplus is keeping sellers active, Dennis Kissler of BOK Financial says in a note. "We need to see storage back under a 5% premium to the five-year average to attract solid fundamental buying." Nymex natural gas is off 5.5% at $3.533/mmBtu. (anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
