Metro Mining (ASX:MMI) reported record June shipments of 589,000 wet metric tonnes (WMT) from its Bauxite Hills operation, up 16% year-on-year, despite draft restrictions in the Skardon River that slowed volumes from May, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The channel has recovered to 80% capacity with full restoration expected soon, as year-to-date shipments reached 1.9 million WMT, including 1.7 million in the June quarter, the filing said.
Third-quarter shipment pricing aligned with resilient market conditions, and total free on board revenue is expected to surpass second-quarter figures, the filing added.
The company's shares were down past 1% in recent Friday trade.
