Former West Coast Eagles player Will Maginness had five dogs, a veterinary science degree, a regional Victorian property and an idea of making and promoting his own line of dog food. There was just one problem – he had no idea how to do it.

He decided to enter the same market as Dr Chris Brown, aka the Bondi Vet, and sell himself before selling anything else. He joined Instagram in April last year. It is not a competitive market, and the 30-year-old soon built a following of 135,000 dog, and good-looking male vet, lovers. He then signed up to a talent agency, Born Bred Talent.
