The key focus will be Ofgem's proposed allowed return on equity of 5.64%, they write. This compares with an Ofgem-compiled consensus median of 5.54%. This will be beneficial for National Grid and SSE, the analysts add. However, they expect companies to ask for improvements in other areas such as capitalization rates and regulatory asset lives.
