Falcon Metals (ASX:FAL) received partial results from the first diamond drilling hole at the Blue Moon prospect at the Pyramid Hills projects in Victoria, intersecting several narrow high-grade gold-bearing quartz lodes, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company reported intersects of 2.2 meters at 6.5 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 41.2 meters, as well as 2.4 meters at 8.4 g/t grade of gold from 600 meters, the filing said. Visible gold was observed at 600.2 meters in a bedded quartz-carbonate vein.
The first wedge hole has been started in the area, targeting possible wider zones of gold mineralization, the filing said.
