Rekor Systems, Inc. has announced the extension of its Rekor Command® contract with the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority in a $1.4 million, five-year agreement. This contract aims to enhance toll road traffic operations by improving incident detection, accelerating response times, and increasing roadway safety across Central Texas toll roads. The agreement introduces features such as Driver Connect for real-time road updates and Traffic Impact for AI-powered predictive insights. Since its initial deployment in 2021, Rekor Command® has significantly increased incident detection by 324% and reduced average response times by 11 minutes, benefiting both the Traffic Incident Management team and the public by ensuring safer and more efficient travel.
