Silex Systems (ASX:SLX) said Global Laser Enrichment, licensee of its uranium enrichment technology, submitted a safety analysis report to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the Paducah laser enrichment facility to be established in Kentucky, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The report provides an assessment of the facility's safety measures, operational protocols, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with the NRC's regulatory standards for nuclear safety and security, the filing said.

Silex Systems shares rose past 1% in morning trade Wednesday.
