WCT Holdings (KLSE:WCT) unit WCT bagged a deal worth 365.2 million ringgit for highway works, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.
Shares gained over 1% in late morning trade on Monday.
The deal was awarded by Projek Lebuhraya Usahasam under which WCT will build additional lanes on the North-South Expressway from Yong Peng (North) to Senai (North), Phase 2: Sedenak to Simpang Renggam. The scope includes site clearance, earthworks, bridges, drainage, road lighting, and utility relocation.
Works are scheduled to start on July 28, and will be completed within 36 months, it added.
