Deutsche Bank (DB) said Monday it is consolidating the separate services for wealthy and high-net-worth clients into the wealth management unit in Germany.
The lender said serving previously separate client segments under one management team will result in faster response to customers and reduced managements levels, among other things, according to a statement that was translated from German.
The bank said there will be six regions based on its structure for supporting medium-sized businesses, with Nasim Amini assuming the leadership role at the Southern Region on Jan. 1 next year.
The bank also said that Naveed Arshad will join Deutsche Bank no later than Jan. 1 next year from Privatbank Hauck Aufhaeuser Lampe to lead a new unit that will serve wealthy individuals seeking digital offerings.
Lisa-Marie Woehrle is joining Deutsche Bank from UBS (UBS) to head a new wealth planning Germany division within wealth management, Deutsche Bank said.
