President Donald Trump said Tuesday on Truth Social that tariffs against a broad group of trading partners will be effective Aug. 1, and "no extensions will be granted."

"TARIFFS WILL START BEING PAID ON AUGUST 1, 2025," Trump said. "There has been no change to this date, and there will be no change."
