DXP Enterprises, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Moores Pump & Services, Inc., further strengthening its rotating equipment division. Moores, headquartered in Broussard, Louisiana, has been a leading provider of products and services in the Gulf Coast region since 1972, specializing in the fabrication and repairs of rotating equipment and pumping systems. The acquisition, funded with cash from DXP's balance sheet, marks the third acquisition for DXP in fiscal 2025. With Moores reporting sales of approximately $10.3 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $1.8 million for the year ending May 30, 2025, this strategic move is expected to enhance DXP's capabilities and expand its presence in the Gulf Coast region. DXP CEO David Little and CFO Kent Yee both highlighted the positive impact of the acquisition on the company's growth strategy and its ability to serve customers, employees, and stakeholders effectively.
