Redwire Corporation, a leader in aerospace and defense technology solutions, has announced the successful integration of its Hammerhead spacecraft platform for an upcoming European Space Agency (ESA) mission. This mission, part of the In-Orbit Demonstration and Verification (IOD/IOV) initiative, will support several innovative technology demonstrations funded by the European Union. As the prime contractor, Redwire has leveraged its facility in Kruibeke, Belgium, known for its exceptional spaceflight heritage, to complete this integration. The Hammerhead platform, known for its versatility and reliability, will undergo further system testing and payload integration at the same facility. This achievement marks the second successful integration of a Hammerhead spacecraft at Redwire's Belgium facility this summer, following their work on ESA's ALTIUS mission.
