Ceribell Inc. has announced that it has filed complaints against Natus Medical Incorporated and its related subsidiaries, alleging patent infringement and unfair competition. The complaints focus on six patents related to important features of Ceribell's EEG headband and electrode design, which are part of its point-of-care electroencephalography (EEG) technology. Ceribell has filed a complaint with the U.S. District Court in Delaware and has also approached the U.S. International Trade Commission, seeking an investigation and an exclusion order to prevent the importation of any infringing Natus products into the United States. Jane Chao, Ph.D., co-founder and CEO of Ceribell, emphasized the company's commitment to protecting its intellectual property and ensuring fair competition in the market.
