Dollar Tree (DLTR) said Monday it completed the sale of its Family Dollar business to Brigade Capital Management and Macellum Capital Management, raising net proceeds of about $800 million.
The company said it expects the economic impact of tax benefits from losses on the divestment to be around $375 million.
Shares were up over 1% in recent trading.
