Buxton Resources (ASX:BUX) started its inaugural drilling program at the Centurion project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program aims to drill a 1,000-meter vertical exploration hole, including a mud rotary pre-collar and a diamond tail, to test an anomaly in the Canning Basin sediments, the filing said.
The initial exploration drill hole is expected to take three to four weeks to complete, with assays anticipated between September and October, per the filing.
