Gold Road Resources Posts Higher Gold Production at Western Australia Mine in June Quarter

Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) reported gold production of 72,980 ounces of gold at the Gruyere gold mine in Western Australia in the June quarter, up from the 62,535 ounces it reported last year, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The mining firm sold 37,741 ounces of gold at an all-in-sustaining cost (AISC) of AU$5,131 an ounce, per the filing. In the same period last year, gold sales were 31,216 ounces at an average price of AU$3,532 per ounce.

The company expects full-year production to come in at the lower end of its guidance range of 325,000 to 355,000 ounces, with AISC at the upper end of its AU$2,4000 to AU$2,600 per ounce forecast.

The Gruyere joint venture is a 50-50 joint venture between Gold Road Resources and Gruyere Mining, part of Gold Fields, which manages and operates the Gruyere gold mine.
