Raffles Education's (SGX:NR7) non-executive director, Ng Kwan Meng, was granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal from all relevant charges against him, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The prosecution had applied for the discharge due to Ng's health condition.

Meanwhile, the company's independent and nominating committees have assessed the suitability of his continuing appointment and have deemed that he should continue to serve as a director of the company.
