Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) completed an updated lithium brine and geothermal energy resource estimation for the Mannheim license area in the Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field in Germany, following a 3D seismic survey, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The Mannheim sector's total lithium brine resource increased by 1,392 thousand tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent, now standing at 3,225 thousand tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent, the filing said.
Additionally, the sector has a maiden geothermal indicated resource of 2,848 petajoules and 10,539 petajoules inferred resource, per the filing.
