Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank (HKG:3618, SHA:601077) obtained the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission for the custody of securities investment funds, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.
The lender, as a fund custodian, will adopt measures to ensure the integrity and independence of fund assets and safeguard unit holders' rights and interests, the filing said.
