July 9 - (The Insurer) - Dallas-based AM Specialty Insurance Group has appointed Tom Griggs as managing director for tailored solutions at its UK-based subsidiary Pinpoint UK Solutions.

Griggs will oversee underwriting governance, pricing analysis and portfolio development for bespoke insurance solutions at AM Specialty's London-based arm.

He most recently served as senior underwriter at Newline Underwriting Management, before which he held roles at ANV Syndicates and UK General Insurance.

AM Specialty announced the appointment of Mary McKay as CUO of Pinpoint in February.

Pinpoint, which was founded in 2021, is a national program administrator, MGA and surplus lines brokerage specialising in E&S insurance.

It was acquired by AM Specialty, through its parent AM Holding Company, in a June 2024 deal first reported by Program Manager.
