TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named nine new suspects in an alleged corruption case involving the management of crude oil at Pertamina, its Sub-Holding, and its Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) from 2018-2023. Among them is Riza Chalid, the beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and PT Orbit Terminal Merak (OTM).

"From the results of the intensive investigation, which included numerous witnesses, the investigative team concluded that sufficient evidence has been obtained to name nine suspects," said Abdul Qohar, Director of Investigation at the Attorney General's Office's Special Crimes Division, at the AGO Building on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

In addition to Riza Chalid, the other suspects are AN, Pertamina's Vice President of Supply and Distribution from 2011-2015, and HB, Pertamina's Commercial Marketing Director from 2014. The remaining suspects are identified as TN, DS, AS, HW, MH, and IP.

Each of these suspects were deemed committed various irregularities that have resulted in state financial losses and economic losses.

Previously, the Attorney General's Office had already named nine other suspects in this case. Three of these individuals are from the private sector, while the other six are officials from Pertamina's Sub-Holding.

They are Riva Siahaan, President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN); Sani Dinar Saifuddin, Director of Feedstock & Product Optimization at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI); Yoki Firnandi, Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping's Central Marketing and Commerce Director; Maya Kusmaya, Director of Trading Operations at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga; Edward Corne, Vice President of Trading Operations at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga; and Agus Purwono, Vice President of Feedstock Management at PT KPI.

The three private sector suspects named earlier in connection with this Pertamina corruption case are: Dimas Werhaspati, Commissioner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim; Gading Ramadhan Joede, Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim and Commissioner of PT Orbit Terminal Merak; and Muhammad Kerry Adrianto Riza, the beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and son of Riza Chalid.

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) stated that the total losses incurred by the state in this corruption case have reached Rp193.7 trillion. This figure includes losses from domestic crude oil exports of approximately Rp35 trillion; losses from crude oil imports through DMUT/Brokers of approximately Rp2.7 trillion; losses from fuel imports through DMUT/Brokers of approximately Rp9 trillion; losses from compensation (2023) of approximately Rp126 trillion; and losses from subsidies (2023) of approximately Rp21 trillion.
