QBE launches liability insurance product for life sciences companies

July 10 - (The Insurer) - QBE North America has launched a life sciences product providing liability protection for risks faced by medical product developers, manufacturers and distributors.

It provides protection for multiple risks associated with clinical trials, dental and medical devices, personal care, specialty pharmaceuticals, animal health products and more.

This expands QBE's healthcare liability portfolio after the launch of its miscellaneous medical liability product in 2024, which includes coverages for professional liability, physical and sexual misconduct liability, general liability, employee benefits liability, errors and omissions, tech and media liability and excess/umbrella.
