TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The retailer management company Alfamart, PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk, purchased shares of PT Noovoleum Indonesia Investama worth US$1 million, or approximately Rp16.2 billion (at an exchange rate of Rp16,271). This transaction occurred on June 26, 2025.

Corporate Secretary Alfamart Tomin Widian stated that this purchase is related to an investment step that has been signed in an agreement with Nooveleum Indonesia. "The company has signed an investment agreement with PT Noovoleum Indonesia Investama," he said in the disclosure of information at the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

Tomin explained that Nooveleum Indonesia is a company engaged in the management and collection of solutions for used cooking oil waste. The company is based in Jakarta. He stated that through this agreement, Alfamart not only establishes business cooperation but also gains investment opportunities. "Obtaining investment opportunities alongside business synergy cooperation," he said.

Tomin Widian previously mentioned that Alfamart recorded a 10.55 percent increase in revenue in 2024. The total revenue reached Rp118.23 trillion.

Meanwhile, the company also saw an increase in gross profit of 9.97 percent, reaching Rp25.37 trillion. Along with the increase in sales and the addition of outlets, the net profit attributable to the parent company's entity owners showed a positive value of Rp3.15 trillion.

Tomin stated that despite the closure of 400 outlets in 2024, the company managed to add 1,033 new Alfamart outlets. This number surpassed the previous target of 1,000 outlets.

At the beginning of this year, in the first quarter of 2025, Alfamart closed five outlets out of the 109 outlets closed by the group (Alfamart and its subsidiaries). "Despite the outlet closures, we still aim to add 1,000 outlets this year," he said.

At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on May 22, 2025, Alfamart decided to distribute dividends of Rp1.4 trillion to its shareholders. "We have decided, the payout ratio is 45 percent, with dividends per share of Rp34.11, totaling Rp1.4 trillion," said President Director of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, Anggara Hans Prawira, at that time.

According to him, the dividend amount this time is the highest in the last five years. Every year, he continued, the final dividends distributed by Alfamart have increased.
