Contact Energy (ASX:CEN, NZE:CEN) has completed its acquisition of Manawa Energy (NZE:MNW), following the satisfaction of all conditions under the scheme implementation agreement, according to a Friday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.
Eligible shareholders will receive NZ$1.12 in cash and 0.5830 new Contact shares for each Manawa share held on July 9, the filing added.
