Pony AI (PONY) said Thursday it has started mass production and road testing of its Gen-7 robotaxis, aiming to boost its fleet to more than 1,000 vehicles by the end of the year.
Road testing began in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, a shift from controlled environments to public traffic, the company said.
