Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) will start a drill program targeting palladium and platinum at the Norseman project in Western Australia in two weeks, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Air-core drilling is planned to follow up on previously encountered palladium assay of 4.1 grams per tonne (g/t) and platinum assay of 2.5 g/t over one meter as well as zones of anomalous platinum group elements, the filing said.
The program is expected to be completed in three weeks, with assay results to be received four weeks after its completion, according to the filing.
