Carawine Resources (ASX:CWX) received notice from IGO (ASX:IGO) of its intention to exit the Fraser Range joint venture (FRJV) in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
IGO has advised it will relinquish exploration licence E39/1733, the last remaining tenement in the FRJV, effectively terminating the joint venture, per the filing.
Under the terms of the FRJV, Carawine may purchase IGO's 76% interest in E39/1733 for AU$1 or consent to the tenement's surrender, the filing added.
Carawine will review past drilling and survey data at the tenement to assess its nickel sulphide potential before deciding next steps.
