NV5 Global (NVEE) said Friday it acquired Professional Systems Engineering, a Philadelphia-based firm specializing in facility technology design for public sector infrastructure.

The acquisition was completed with a combination of cash and stock, the company said.

The company said the acquisition would expand its reach in a sector with high barriers to entry and very specialized building technology requirements.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
