VinFast Auto Ltd. has expanded its operations with the official inauguration of its new electric vehicle $(EV)$ manufacturing plant in the Vung Ang Economic Zone, Ha Tinh, Vietnam. The state-of-the-art facility will focus on producing compact urban EV models, including the VF 3, Minio Green, and EC Van. This expansion aims to cater to both the domestic market and international exports. In June 2025 alone, VinFast delivered 11,382 EVs within Vietnam, maintaining its position as the country's leading automaker. The VF 3 model emerged as the best-seller for the month, contributing significantly to the company's total deliveries. This strategic move is expected to bolster VinFast's production capabilities and reinforce its presence in the global EV market.
