Vtech (HKG:0303) is cancelling plans to move production of some US-bound products outside of China to counter tariff costs, Hong Kong's The Standard reported Tuesday.
The electronics producer had planned to move some production lines to Malaysia, Mexico, and Germany, but has now opted against the plan due to higher production efficiency and existing capacity in China, the report said, citing Vtech chairman Allan Wong Chi-yun.
