1026 GMT - Morgan Stanley upgrades its forecast for China GDP growth this year by 30 basis points to 4.8%, after the world's second-largest economy reported a 5.3% expansion in 1H. But the investment bank still expects growth to slow in 2H due to weaker exports after front-loaded shipments earlier this year. MS projects export growth to slow from 6% in 1H to around 0% in 2H, resulting in a 60bp-70bp drag on 2H GDP growth. (singaporeeditors@dowjones.com)
