Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA) said that its 2024 drilling program at the Moblan lithium project in Quebec, Canada, returned high-grade results, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm encountered intercepts of 59.6 meters at 1.5% grade of lithium oxide from 316.6 meters outside the 2024 mineral resource estimate pit shell, and 0.8 meters at 1.8% grade of lithium oxide from 67.5 meters within the pit shell.
Drilling confirms continuity of spodumene-bearing pegmatites across all zones, the company said, adding that multiple thick, high-grade intercepts within the pit shell support conversion from the inferred category to the indicated/measured categories.
