Star Minerals (ASX:SMS) submitted a native vegetation clearing permit for the Tumblegum South gold project with the Western Australia Department of Mines, to be able to clear up to 45 hectares of native vegetation within a 79-hectare permit area, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The firm plans to begin mining in the first quarter of 2026, per the filing.
