Kingsgate Consolidated (ASX:KCN) said its controlled entity, Akara Resources, completed the planned drilling at the Chatree South-East complex, a prospective area located near the Chatree gold mine in Thailand, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling, which included at and near surface reverse circulation and diamond drilling, will inform the inaugural resource estimate for the complex.
It hit intercepts of 16 meters at 2.61 grams per tonne grade of gold from 12 meters, as well as 22 meters at 1.29 g/t grade of gold from 28 meters.
It also reported further significant gold and silver continuity at the Chang Puek prospect, near the gold mine.
Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Wednesday.
