Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) confirmed the presence of extensive antimony mineralization with grades of up to 1.7% antimony at the Maverick Springs project in Nevada through a re-assay program, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is targeting historical drill core and pulps, initially assayed for silver and gold, for multi-element testing, the filing said.
About 30 historical holes have been submitted for multi-element assay, with an additional 25 expected to be received in the third quarter of the year, per the filing.
Shares fell nearly 1% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
