Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) said it has planned geophysics and drilling programs for the year at the Jessica Copper Project in Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company has commenced multi-channel, induced polarisation and magnetotelluric data acquisition system (MIMDAS) geophysical survey at Zeta target of the project, where prior drilling found hematite alteration zones and quartz carbonate veining containing chalcopyrite and bornite.
The company has scheduled an airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey, comprising 2,640 line-kilometres, for August-September to build on geological insights from the 2024 drilling.
Follow-up drilling targeting anomalies identified through the MIMDAS and AEM geophysical surveys is planned to commence in October, the filing added.
The project is being advanced under a farm-in agreement with a unit of South32 (ASX:S32).
