The U.S. Army has awarded a new multi-year contract to NORESCO, a top-ranked energy service company under Carrier Global Corporation, to provide Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) focused on energy, water, and resilience. This performance-based acquisition, managed by the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama, allows federal agencies to implement multiple energy savings projects without upfront capital costs. The contract, part of ESPC IV, Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), has a collective capacity of $3 billion over a five-year base and a five-year option ordering period. NORESCO aims to enhance federal infrastructure through guaranteed energy and water savings, reinforcing its long-standing partnership with the U.S. Army.
