Asia Cement (China) (HKG:0743) expects an attributable profit of around 114.4 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, compared with a loss of 404.9 million yuan a year prior, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The firm attributed the turnaround to profit mainly to the higher selling prices and lower cost of sales of its cement products.
