L3Harris Technologies has secured a contract to upgrade the Royal Moroccan Air Force's C-130 fleet. The enhancements, which include avionics modification, program depot maintenance, and engine overhauls, aim to bolster the RMAF's operational capabilities for missions such as tactical airlift, humanitarian assistance, and special operations. This agreement signifies the start of a strategic partnership between L3Harris and the RMAF, with work on the fleet set to commence this year at L3Harris' facility in Waco and continue through 2029. Jason Lambert, President of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance at L3Harris, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering modifications that enhance aircraft performance and extend fleet longevity.
