BriaCell Therapeutics Slide After Equity Offer

BriaCell Therapeutics shares slipped after the company announced a $15 million equity offering.

The stock was recently down 62%, to 78 cents, on the Nasdaq late Tuesday. Shares were between $1.75 and $1.90 for much of the trading day before BriaCell reported the offering.

The cancer-focused biotechnology company said it was offering 12 million units for $1.25 each. Each unit consists of one common share, or pre-funded warrant in lieu thereof, and one warrant.

Earlier Tuesday, BriaCell said Mayo Clinic was added to a continuing clinical study evaluating BriaCell's lead drug candidate, Bria-IMT, in advanced metastatic breast cancer.
