AusQuest Completes Induced Polarization Survey Targets at South Australia Project

AusQuest (ASX:AQD) said that the MIMDAS induced polarization and magnetotelluric survey at the Coober Pedy iron-oxide copper-gold project in South Australia was completed, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The compilation of the survey results with the available gravity and magnetic data indicates that the induced polarization targets are semi-coincident with discrete gravity highs. The survey was designed to test large-scale, semi-coincident gravity and magnetic anomalies that were considered priority targets for iron-oxide copper-gold-style mineralization.

The project is subject to the strategic alliance agreement with a wholly-owned unit of South32 (ASX:S32).

Its shares rose 4% on market close.
