L3Harris Technologies (LHX) said Thursday it is introducing a line of launched effects vehicles to address the US Department of Defense's need for advanced munitions.

The Red Wolf and Green Wolf multi-role vehicles can integrate and launch from air, ground or maritime-based platforms, the company said. Red Wolf delivers long-range precision strikes, while Green Wolf provides electronic warfare capabilities.

L3Harris will build "dozens of systems" as part of low-rate initial production by the close of the year, it said.
