Seadrill Ltd. is currently involved in a legal dispute after a judgment was rendered against the company by the High Court of Justice in England. The case, which was initiated by an individual claimant, concerns negotiations related to the establishment of Sonadrill, Seadrill's joint venture in Angola, dating back to late 2018 and early 2019.
