Recent data shows that the sudden spike in large transactions and whale-tier wallet activity in the last 90 days is the main cause of this explosive growth, indicating that major players are either aggressively accumulating SHIB or repositioning.

Significant price volatility is frequently preceded by such a sharp increase in network activity, particularly when high-value transfers are involved. Although the exact cause is not always known, sudden increases in whale movement usually indicate that the market is either anticipating large price swings or front-running a news-based catalyst. Similar activity spikes have previously occurred at the start of long-term uptrends or local tops. 

From the standpoint of the market, SHIB has broken through the $0.0000145 zone and is currently moving toward the critical resistance around $0.000015. The long-term 200 EMA, which continues to be the main technical barrier ahead, has turned this level that was once a recalcitrant ceiling into a battlefield as bulls try to overcome it.

A significant increase in trading volume and a push in the Relative Strength Index (RSI) well above 70 - which suggests overbought conditions - have also coincided with SHIB's recent price action. 

Unless it finds new catalyst flows, this indicates that buying momentum is at its peak, which is frequently a sign of short-term exhaustion. However, it does not immediately imply a reversal. The next reasonable target is located between $0.000017 and $0.000018, which are areas where prior rallies paused before correcting if the price is able to hold above $0.000015 and consolidate.

On the other hand, if the whale accumulation turns out to be a covert distribution event, the price may return to the $0.000013-$0.0000125 range. The spike in on-chain activity of 1,054% is essentially a warning that a significant event is about to occur.
