Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) reported up to 26% higher silver grades after analyzing preliminary silver results from partial pulp re-assays at its Maverick Springs project in Nevada, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The historical pulp re-assay program, performed using a four-acid digest method, showed consistent uplift in mean silver grades across samples from the initial five holes tested, the filing said.
Up to 195 holes drilled before 2024 are available for reassessment based on the reassay program outcomes, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 7% in midday trade Friday.
