Intuitive Machines Inc. has announced a significant expansion at their Houston Spaceport headquarters, following City Council approval, to accommodate new government contracts and bolster commercial growth. The upcoming development, set to break ground in summer 2025, will add a 16,500-square-foot spacecraft development and production space, an 8,000-square-foot warehouse, and 150 new parking stalls. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to scale operations for a diverse customer base in civil, national security space, and commercial sectors. Intuitive Machines, which has seen a workforce growth of over 130% since 2019, aims to enhance production capacity and mission readiness through these new facilities.
